You pause for only a moment before taking a deep breath of fresh morning air and leaning into the packed earth as you start off after the determined Fat Cat. You run through a row of low plants, being as careful as you can not to squash too many, and realize that no matter how old Fat Cat may be, he is at least not wearing boots. Fat Cat's panting becomes faint, his body becomes small, and you suddenly realize where he's headed... after that quickly moving shadow far up the river bed.
You stop to catch your breath and pull a stick out of your shoe, noticing the very long shadow the new sun casts behind you, and you freeze- That was no shadow... Fat Cat couldn't have seen well enough to notice it anyways... It's headed towards Old Man Wintersnow's barn... Oh no, not there... and not Fat Cat, too...
Oh yes. It dawns on you as you regain your full height: only one creature in this remote village would be wild enough to make its way towards Wintersnow's barn at daybreak, and only Fat Cat would be fool enough to follow She Who Must Not Be Tamed...
"Sweeeeeeeeeet Cheeeeeeeeeks!"

What do you want to do?
A. Run, run like the wind back to the house and forget about the Sweet Cheeks sighting. Turn to Page 9.
B. Take a deep breath and head for Wintersnow's place. Turn to Page 10.
